Dublin Castle

Dublin Castle is across the road from Kinlay and includes the 13 the century record tower, the stunning State Apartments and the treasures held in the Chester Beatty Library Dublin.

Dublinia

On the far side of Christchurch from Kinlay is one of Dublin’s most popular attractions giving it’s visitors amazing insight into the lives and history or Vikings of past times.

Kilmainham Gaol

Founded in 1796, Kilmainham has housed many of Irelands “infamous rebels” including the leaders of the Easter Rising. Self-guided tours are available daily but be sure to book in advance as this attraction is extremely popular and not to be missed!

National Gallery of Ireland

Houses the national collection of Irish and European paintings, it is free of charge!!

Phoenix Park

The largest urban enclosed park in Europe, features ornamental gardens, stunning trails and broad expanses of grassland where deer roam. Dublin Zoo and the house of the president of Ireland (Aras an Uachtarain) can be found here too!

St. Patricks Cathedral

5-minutes away from Kinlay House is the largest Cathedral in Dublin where it is said St. Patrick baptised converts to Christianity.

Trinity College

The oldest university in Ireland, Trinity has been the heart of Dublin since 1592. Take a guided tour or simply walk around yourself as you enjoy the sublime architecture, cobbled squares, gardens and parks. It is also home to the famous Book of Kells, written around the year 800 AD.

Collins Barracks

The oldest military barracks in Europe, it includes the Museum of Decorative Arts and History. A casual 20 walk down the River Liffey from Kinlay House.

Dublin Writers Museums

Located at Parnell’s Square, it’s the perfect destination for any bookworm, this incredible 18 th Century mansion features the works of many Dublin literary figures such as Joyce, Wilde, Yeats and Shaw.

Guinness Storehouse

The tours gives a fascinating look into the making of a pint of plain – the finest drink in the world if you ask me, but only if drank in Ireland!! Concludes with a pint in the Gravity Bar that boasts a stunning view of the city.

Malahide Castles and Gardens
